NEVLEC in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Nevis Health Promotion Unit (HPU), hosted health screening sessions for staff. This initiative is a part of an outreach program in which the main objective is to increase health awareness and lessen the incidence of lifestyle diseases.

The screening sessions were held at NEVLEC’s Conference Room, located at the Main Office in the Valu Mart Business Complex on Wednesday 30th October 2024, commencing at 9:30 AM.

Tests done during the screenings included:

• Blood Sugar Test
• Blood Pressure Test
• Urine Test
• Body Mass Index Calculations

Thirty-seven (37) employees benefitted from the screenings and were able to obtain critical information about their health.
